Likelihood & Bayesian Ecology

Bayesian Models: A Statistical Primer for Ecologists by N. Thompson Hobbs and Mevin B. Hooten

In BIOS 952 Likelihood & Bayesian Ecology I draw on my experience as a collaborator developing likelihood and Bayesian analyses in topics ranging from senescence, community structure, and college science education. While the example applications are drawn from the ecological literature, the techniques can be broadly applied to disciplines such as psychology and political science. The course teaches an applied perspective on Bayesian analysis. Here is the syllabus for the Fall 2020 3-week course.
